Mark is an international award-winning Keynote speaker and Master Executive/Team Coach who specializes in helping individuals, teams, and organizations navigate confounding change and deliver breakthrough results.
He is a leadership expert with vast experience navigating turbulent waters. In his professional sailing career, he’s competed in countless races and sailed over 80,000 miles across the worlds’ toughest oceans. His most notable achievement was leading an amateur team to success in the BT Global Challenge 2000-01, dubbed ‘the world’s toughest round the world yacht race’.
Mark was also a major contributor to the Henley Management School MBA Text ‘Inspiring Leadership; staying afloat in turbulent times, which looked at the relationship between emotional intelligence and achieving sustained performance in the race. It’s now in its 7th reprint.
But Mark also draws on 20+ years of working with some of the worlds’ greatest organizations, helping to reshape their cultures and improve their leadership and team resilience to deliver better, faster, and more sustainably, especially in times of disruption and change. He has been involved in many high-profile projects including one that led to a £1.27bn saving for a global mining client and a Procurement Leaders Gold Award for People Development.
He has also been pivotal to two successful mergers and has twice assisted companies to achieve a ‘Sunday Times Top 100 Best Companies to Work for Award.
